Accomplishment :]

I finished Ashley's hat tonight! So excited! I haven't made a hat in a while. I did more than 50% in combination style, then I was knitting in the dark and I kept dropping stitched so I opted to go back to the regular method. Bella my build-a-bear panda would like to model it for you. It's a basic knit hat. I am thinking of adding a flower or something to it. I never made a flower before though. 

So, me and Rob went to the mall. I couldn't find itty bitty toys! :[ I was so sad. But we did go to Gentle Jungle, our pet store in the mall. We took out two amazing dogs which I wanted. Well, I wanted the bull dog anyways. He was a little boy and so precious! But, he is $2800 wayyyy too much to spend on a dog. People are ridiculous to charge that much! The German sheperd was $1400. Like, some cars don't cost that kind of money!

So then we went to target and that was fun. But in the car we tried thinking of knitting to driving analogies and this is what we came up with:

Tomorrow on break I'll be going to Betty's again. Hopefully I'll finish the spots on the giraffe & I can put her together too. I'm trying to thing of a good name for her before I send her to her new home. I don't like Giraffe-y too much. I think it should be like Gigi or Gertie. Those are two of my mom's aunts that past away before I was born, but I always loved those names. Gigi Giraffe. I think I like it. Or GeeGee Giraffe. (GG?) Idk. But It'll be hilarious. :]

Tomorow, also may be starting my slippers finally! Betty said she would help me!

it's a two hat kinda day

I finished two hats today! Aren't you proud?! I finished the hot pink hat. I decided its for Lisa not Jenna after I tried it on lol. I'll do Jenna's tmrw possibly during the movies if I go. Then I decided to do the Aspen hat. Its a very cute hat with a button and a nice bottom. I got the nicest yarn. Lana grande in the dark green.Its gorgeous and soft, but I didn't have size 15 needles and used 13s and then didn't gauge (i never do) and guess what? It could fit a little baby. I am contemplating frogging it and getting 15s or just using the rest for the hat and giving the baby one away. I haven't decided.
 

I went to AC Moore before I babysat and bought 4 balls. 2 of the quick&thick for my cowl. And then purple and a brown for who knows what. They were chunky too. and on sale!

My ring came in finally! Why do I have to have such skinny fingers? I got a 5, the smallest size they carry and I keep having to adjust it it kinda big. But how could I go any smaller? Oh well. As long as it doesn't go past my knuckle I'll be fine. It's beautiful and I love it. Best present ever. Until I get my birthday pet.









I went to retail 101 today with mom, Jill, and the cousin Jared. I miss him we used to be much closer. everything is the same when we are together but we hardly ever are. I got a couple sweaters, a hoodie, sweatpants, and 3 pairs of shoes. gotta love $9 shoes! I spent $82 but when I go into A&E I know I'll see the bargain I got. I also got a couple $15 necklaces for only $2. And a cute little hat for $5.Now tell me that's not a steal!












I babysat tonight and the kids were fine. I like babysitting them they are fun. They definitely keep me on my toes. I also finished The Last Song over there. I started reading it while Brandon played Bakugan on his DS and he was so intent on me finishing it he wouldn't go to bed until I did. He's so sweet.


I have a ton of homework to get done tomorrow I think... lol I always forget. But I'm sure I do. Mid terms next week. Just kill me now. LOL. I really hope I do well. I took an online quiz tonight and I did fine I got 6 points off and some of them the computer didn't know how to score so my teacher has to give me the points. and freaking one of them i didn't know you could choose more than one so I got that wrong. whatever.Stupid school. I can't wait until next spring and I will be done!

Visited the boy at work tonight <3 Love him. He made me a delicious reeses peanut butter cup sundae with extra cups and extra cream and extra cherries. <3 he's the best. I couldn't finish it but it wasso delish. i loved it.

Mittens x2!!!

I finished my second mitten day! So excited! I spent the whole morning on the couch in my pj's watching movies because movies make me knit faster lol! I think I watched 4 movies. So i was basically on the couch until 4:00! I'm such a loser! At least my mittens are done! I love them. I have been wearing them all day. So it's valentines day and I'm at Robby's. We watched Zombie land and then Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. Both were good I liked Zombie land better though. I miss just laying and watching movies with Robby. :] He wrote me a lovely letter and it made me cry it was amazing. I gave him a HUGE bag of candy and one of my hearts. I can't wait until my ring comes in!!! It should be here any day now. he only ordered it like a month ago! lol! So I am going to start working on my long list of hats now. I'm going to see how many I can make before the olympics are over! I think I have at least 5 to make. I think I can do that easily. The only9 challenge will be the beret since I've never made one. But I thought my mittens would be a challenge and I finished them in two days! :] Happy valentines day!

Exciting X3

Some exciting things happened today at Betty's shop!!!
a. Jen brought in two 6day old rottie puppies and I got to hold them and let them suck on my finger! Their mommy is sick and so 3 people are taking care of the puppies in pairs. 2 puppies for each person!!! SO CUTE!
b. Betty said I could volunteer at the shop!!! HOORAY!!!
c. I signed up for the continental class and Tante Mimi is taking it with me! YAHOO!
d. I started Lauren W.'s hat today. It's pretty cute. It has a navy blue band and a hot pink/fuchsia body.
also, Rob wants to learn how to knit so that will be fun! I can't wait until he's really good and we can bond over yarn! ha ha! I found the cutest pattern that I want to make asap! Knitted sheep http://flutterbypatch.typepad.co.uk/flutterby_patch/2009/05/sheep.html I think they are the most adorable things! And you make their wool separate so they can have different "outfits".
I can't wait to finish Lauren's hat but I should probably work on homework!!!

update: finished Lauren's hat!!! :] I love the color combo.

project a day week

I'm hoping this week I can make a project a day. even if it's small. i doubt it'll happen. yesterday i made Mr. piggy wig. I have to put the finishing touches on though. like his eyes, nose, ears, tail, pant roll. weird stuff. anyways. i started a hat today for Heidi's twins. today I'm working on Teige's. It's dark gray, green, and white. I think it's going to look really good. Tomorrow I'm going to work on Ty's hat. His is white, navy, and light blue. I can't wait to see how they look in them! I'm trying to find a giraffe pattern for Tyler's daughter Aubrey. I found one but it looked really hard so I'm going to have to look harder. As for now, I'll stick with these projects. I'm going to try to finish the bikini top this week too! I started that project in OCTOBER! Where the time goes I really don't know!
