Take a Picture Thursday

New idea. I felt like monday tuesday wednesday have all the fun and then i have too much to write about on monday. the weekends basically are too busy to blog i've learned this but thursdays are fine. so i thought, i should take a picture each thursday that explains what i did that day or something cool about the day. so today i have this:

Hugo the backpack monster

I was taking a nap yesterday and just as i was waking up this idea came to me. i really wanted to make hugo but what if i added a zipper to his head and made him a backpack?? i thought it was a pretty awesome idea. since hugo is so big i had to go to the craft store and pick up some yarn since none of my stash was enough. i couldn't decide between light blue and hot pink so i did both. the feet are light blue the belly is hot pink and once i start the decreases that will be light blue too. his arms will obviously be hot pink as well.

i really want to finish him tonight because i am going to ctcon tomorrow and i want to wear him instead of carrying a purse around. he's half way done. here's hoping!!
