huggable hippo

while i'll admit my hippo isn't a very huggable size she really is adorable. and she actually looks how she should!

the pattern had her knit flat but i knit her in the round because i can lol. i did do the feet flat because that was quick. i stayed up really late trying to finish all her legs before bed. i didn't do her face until this am though.

she needs a name as well.

i decided the mouse i already is going to my aunt because i want to make mine match purl. i'm going to do the head black and the body cream and then needle felt her black areas onto her back. its going to be cute. :]

yesterday me and lindsay went to joey garlic for dinner. i had the eggplant fries...for dinner. and we had the donuts for dessert. then we went back to her place to play with the puppies and knit/crochet and drink BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE SMOOTHIES! i plan on getting the cheesecake stuff and yogurt today so i can make a smoothie tonight. luckily we have blueberries already.

we had a fun night. she gave me an awesome knitting bag that i put everything in right away and some other knitting stuff like this book:

betty will be happy i finally have a reference book i can carry around besides just youtubing everything lol.

she also made this hat and said i could have it!

i made this hat yesterday morning. i love the chunky! rob is getting a black one.

btw i just woke up so i look like a hot mess in these pictures lol.
yesterday before i went to lindsays i went to tjmaxx and got some cute stuff. idk where it went probably some where in this house. and then we got randys pizza YUM.

oh and at my dentist appt. the receptionist ordered 3 THINGS! i am so excited i am getting started ASAP! i'm so happy! she ordered the wrap me up pup, a large herz, and an elephant. i am excited to make a new type of elephant. i think i might make the elijah pattern. i started the elephante pattern for myself and i wasn't really liking it so idk yet. we'll see. :]


well going to go print the patterns to work on today. i am trying to narrow my queue down by making a ton of stuff. but the other day i was on and added like 10 things to it. haha i love the stuff on ravelry. i wish i was an octopus so i could make everything at once.
