I didn't have anything for WIP Wednesday so I didn't post and then I forgot it was Thursday. Mommy brain.
Here is my pinterest pile-up of the week. (all links are from pinterest)
It's fun things to do with kids that I can't wait to do once Dahlia is old enough. currently she's staring at me from her rocking chair laughing at me.
1. Themed Movie Night I love watching movies, we already started watching movies with Dahlia (well, watching movies and she eats and giggles at us) I think it would be so fun to have family movie night
2. Yearbooks I love taking pictures of Dahlia and I want all my kids to remember the special times we've had while they grew up and printing a million pictures can cost so much then you have to scrap book them all or put them in an album. Yearbooks made on shutter fly would be so much easier.
3. Alphabet Book I would love to make one of these for Dahlia. I think I'll make one of pictures in her first year of life. So then she can learn her alphabet and see pictures of things she knows
4. New Years Eve Countdown I love New Years I have fallen asleep the past 3 years in a row but when Dahlia is older I want to make it fun. Presents for each hour to open and play with to make it more fun to stay awake? sounds awesome!
5. Packing own lunches I think kids really need to be independent. Making their own lunches is a great way to instill this. Maybe I should do this with Mike since I have to make his lunch for him every night.
6. First Birthday Time Capsule On baby's first birthday you have everyone write what they think they will become when they are older and you let them open them up when they graduate high school.
7. Birthday Balloon Room I love birthdays and filling your kids room with balloons seems like an awesome way to start the day and something to look forward to each year.
8. Night Before Christmas i just love traditions. giving kids new pajamas and things to do the night before Christmas to have family time is such a nice one.
9. Elf on a Shelf i love elf on a shelf. the twins i babysat had one and loved it. and i would look forward to making him do silly things each night.
10. Christmas Countdown an activity for every day in December leading up to Christmas so you don't forget anything fun. like an advent calendar for holiday activities.
Some Dahlia pictures from our day out on Wednesday. <3 p="p">3>
I have this little, themed board books that my girls loved as well as my godson when he comes over to visit. My mum also bought the Baby Einstein DVDs for my girls. They were entertained by them and learned a few things. The Preschool Prep DVDs are good too. One of my BFFs' clients created that.
