33 weeks down.

i have been horrible at posting but i think i really need to start again. i'm being so unmotivated with my knitting and i have a lot of things i want to get done before dahlia comes.

finish her monster mobile
-i have 4 monsters done for it but i wanted a couple more. but i think 4 will look cute too. i still need to put it together though
i want to knit her 12 holiday hats (can't tell why it's a surprise)
-i have 9 of the hats main body done i need to finish those and do the other 3
a hat and booties to come home in
-i keep switching which yarn i want to use and i can't decide on a pattern
a sweater for maine in october
-this may never get done with everything else on my plate but i'd love to. i want to knit baby sophisticate off ravelry
and a bunch of soakers for her cloth diapers
-these are a must do so she doesn't soak through her diapers at night and she looks cute
also a sweater to wear over her christening gown
-this is a must do too at least for my own selfish reasons. i'd love for her to wear something i made. i chose to do the autumn leaves sweater on ravelry
knit me mike and dahlia stockings for christmas
-this may be done after i have her hopefully she's a good sleeper and i can get some knitting done when she's born

i figure if you guys know what i want to do it'll give me more incentive to do it.

and as an update this is how i'm looking these days:

i'm feeling pretty good. a lot of my back problems are going away some still remain but it's almost done. i have gestational diabetes so i've been eating a lot healthier and hopefully after i'll be able to lose the weight quicker. dahlia is about 4 1/2 pounds right now and i'll get to see her on TV again saturday and i can't wait to see how much she grew in a week. i just don't want to have to wait 6 more weeks to see her in person. they need to fly by. and i have a lot of work to do in the meantime to make sure everything is finished and ready for her.

  1. Try to go walking now. I found exercising while preggers helped me lose the weight after my first baby. After my second, during which I had been hella cocky, it took me two years to lose the weight.
But don't worry too much about losing weight. Keep eating healthy and go out w/her in the stroller. You need the nutrients and calories for nursing.
    You look great! You're glowing!
